SBYC: New Member Application Information

Becoming a Member

If you have not contacted our membership director (membership@sbyc.com), please do this before completing an application.  The director will show you our facilities, help you select a slip, and answer any questions you have.  When you are ready to join us, we will need:

  • an entrance fee check of $1,000 payable to Selby Bay Yacht Club, to hold your slip

  • your completed application. which can be done online 

  • your insurance documents before you vessel arrives at SBYC, showing coverage of at least $500K

You can drop you check off at SBYC with our Club Manager, Mr. Roberto Alonzo, or mail it to us:

What Happens Next?

In accordance with the Club by-laws, current members must be informed of all new member applications, and have a week to view applications.  After members review, the Board of Directors has a week to return their vote.  At that point you are a new member!  It’s time to work with our Piers & Docks coordinator to work on the logistics of bringing your vessel to SBYC.
